Page Perry Partner Speaks At Caribbean Investments And Capital Markets Conference

Page Perry partner James A. Nofi recently addressed the Jamaica Stock Exchange’s 2008 Investment and Capital Markets Conference held in Montego Bay, Jamaica from January 29, 2008 - February 1, 2008.  Mr. Nofi participated in a panel discussion on “Regulating Alternative Investment Schemes.”   Other participants included George Roper, the acting Executive Director of the Jamaican Financial Services Commission, Michael Moore, a Senior Counsel at the Securities & Exchange Commission, and Eleanor Brown, a Reginald F. Lewis Fellow at Harvard Law School.  Mr. Nofi also spoke at a second panel on using technology to increase business efficiency.  

The Investments & Capital Markets Conference is an annual conference sponsored by the Jamaica Stock Exchange and attracts representatives of Caribbean governments, regulators, financial institutions and other businesses.

Mr. Nofi is a frequent speaker for the Jamaica Stock Exchange.  He spoke at its 2007 Conference on the subject of Legal Barriers to Financial Integration and also gave a presentation on avoiding customer complaints at the Jamaica Stock Exchange’s 2006 Summer Workshop for brokers in Kingston, Jamaica.
