Page Speaks At American Bar Association Litigation Section Annual Meeting

On May 1, 2009, J. Boyd Page, senior partner of Page Perry, participated in a panel discussion regarding securities arbitration at the American Bar Association’s Annual Litigation Section meeting.  The discussion focused on the merits of allowing class actions to proceed in arbitration.  The panel covered a wide range of topics ranging from policy considerations to problems with implementation to practical limitations.  Both the panel and the audience engaged in a lively debate of the issues with comments from noted securities authorities in the audience such as John Coffee, Professor at Columbia University, Louis Burke and Susan Saltzstein.
